About Club Grants
Funding that is genuinely open for sports and community clubs, with every fund's status and amounts re-read on the funder's own site on the date shown.
What is on this site
One question, "sports club funding finder", answered with a checker that works on the page with no account, 3 guides on the questions around it, a data table you can cite (the figures and their method), and the sources every figure rests on.
- Grants for sports club equipment and kit: The Football Foundation will not fund kit or equipment. Two national funds will, if you frame the ask as getting more people playing rather than as a shopping list.
- Grants for a clubhouse, pavilion or pitch: Building projects rarely come from one grant. The ladder is the Football Foundation for football, then Awards for All and Reaching Communities, and tenure comes first.
- What your club needs in place before it applies for funding: Most club applications fail on eligibility, not on quality. The paperwork, the bank account and the plan every national funder expects to see before you start writing.

Club Grants is an independent information site operated by Ellul Solutions Ltd. It is not affiliated with Sport England, The National Lottery Community Fund, the Football Foundation, sportscotland, Sport Northern Ireland, Sport Wales or any other funder, and nothing here is financial or legal advice. Every fund named was re-read on the funder's own website on the date shown at the top of this page, and where we could not confirm a fund's status we say so rather than implying it is open. Funding programmes open and close constantly: always check the funder's own page for current status, amounts and eligibility before you apply.
